We have another BIG announcement to share with you! We will be partnering with Manyfest to bring you a NEW + IMPROVED Market experience on Sep 7, 8 + 9.
Manyfest is aiming to become the biggest + best street festival in Winnipeg. Downtown Biz has partnered with some amazing companies to help achieve this goal. We are thrilled to be part of this transformation.
True North + Smith Events (the man behind the whiteout parties) have signed on to oversee the operations of Manyfest. They have revamped the layout of Manyfest to create a more inclusive setup + flow and we are are loving the new design.

Lake of the Woods Brewing Company will be managing the beer gardens, creating a mini lake setup in Memorial Park (we have seen the mock ups, it’s AMAZING!). The event has been approved for a “sip + shop” experience where shoppers will be able to bring their drinks into our Market area.
Fete Jockey, whom we worked with on Canada Games, will be hosting an amazing family-fun area in Memorial Park, with midway rides setup along Broadway.
Third + Bird will be hosting a large outdoor Market on Broadway Ave that will be FREE to the public. We will be setup in between the Legislative Bldg + the Law Courts. This is a beautiful venue and we cannot wait to add some signature Third + Bird touches to make the space magical.
Manyfest is known for it’s amazing food truck wars, this is an attraction not to be missed + draws 50,000 – 70,000 attendees over the weekend.
Manyfest will run Sep 8 + 9, with the potential of adding Friday Sep 7 hours. We are waiting on approval from the City of Winnipeg on this matter + will wait on opening applications until all dates are confirmed. We will let you know asap.
In the meantime, here are some details:

$300 + GST
You will receive a 10×10 space.
No electrical or wifi is provided.
You must provide all display items, any tables or chairs you choose to bring.
You are responsible for securing and weatherproofing your merchandise and materials. In the event of wind and rain, we recommend all vendors bring a tent with sandbags.
The booths will be within a fenced area that will be monitored 24 hours by security. You can leave your goods + display overnight if you so choose.
This event is rain or shine and no refunds will be offered due to weather or other circumstances.
