Howard & Lloyd

In 1941 two farmers by trade signed a deal on the back of a half-empty cigarette pack to purchase some land. These two farmers were Lloyd (Born 1918) and his younger brother Howard (Born 1920). The land they purchased was in the heart of the prairies, just west of Saskatoon. We’re still unsure about which side of the deal got the half pack of smokes that were left, but the two brothers farmed the land for over 50 years before Lloyd's son eventually took over. As an ode to the brothers, Howard and Lloyd was started to provide something we were having trouble finding: quality, limited-run streetwear that was actually made in Canada. Although the connection between two farmers and streetwear may not seem obvious, it’s apparent in how their daily persistence embodies and influences our approach to making clothing. Our process has been simple since the get-go: design what we want, how we want while working with manufacturers across Canada to deliver the best products we can.
We sell everything from hats, to tee's, to cut + sew jackets.
